
The Smart Controls panel shows parameters that affect either a group of sounds within the kit, or an individual kit piece.
Click the Controls button at the right hand side of the Controls bar to view the Smart Controls Mix and Effects panel. If the Controls button isn’t visible, click the kit name in the Kit name bar. Click the disclosure triangle at the lower left of the Drum Grid if the Smart Controls panel isn’t visible.
Note: The parameters discussed in this section are common to all kits. The center two knobs in the Effects controls vary between kits.

Level knobs: Set the level of grouped drum sounds. For example, set the level of all Tom sounds.
Note: Any relative level differences between individual sounds within the group are retained.
Group on/off buttons: Enable or disable all drum sounds within a group. For example, turn all Tom sounds on or off.
High Cut Filter knob: Set the high cut filter frequency. All kit sounds above this frequency are attenuated.
High Cut filter on/off button: Enable or disable the high cut filter.
Low Cut Filter knob: Set the low cut filter frequency. All kit sounds below this frequency are attenuated.
Low Cut filter on/off button: Enable or disable the low cut filter.
Kit Delay knob: Set the level of the delay effect for the overall kit. You can control the amount of delay for each group within a kit by adjusting the Sends parameters. See Smart Controls Sends panel.
Kit Delay on/off button: Enable or disable the delay effect for the kit.
Kit Reverb knob: Set the level of the reverb effect for the overall kit. You can control the amount of reverb for each group within a kit by adjusting the Sends parameters.
Kit Reverb on/off button: Enable or disable the reverb effect for the kit.
